STRDBMON file - How is the 3010 rcd linked to 1000 record?

Good morning. For SQL statements where a ? is a placeholder for the variable (the 1000 record) there is an associated 3010 record that has the values in the QQ1000 field. Does anyone know how these records are linked? I've tried different combinations and can't quite seem to nail it down.
It must be linked somehow, because when I view the file in iNav the SQL statement and it's variables are displayed on the same line.
