I accidentally typed "IBM i" in an email when I meant "iSeries". Due to being lazy, I went back and rather than type over "IBM i" I added (series) after the little i and what came out is:

IBM i(series)

I think that's a great way to refer to the box since "IBM i" isn't worth 2 cents as a name.

Definitely makes for something you can google. "i" just plain sucks, and "AS400" misses too many resource sites these days (though it works at a pinch).

How about The IBM Platform Formerly Knows As The AS400, or in short tipfkata? That should make googling our stuff really easy with only one hit so far! It'll sure raise an eyebrow or two and might turn out to be a discussion item if you put it in your CV...
