Overlay to Word Doc/.jpg Published by: sarge on 17 May 2012 view comments(2)

hi all,

i have a word document that uses the overlay keyword to generate invoices/receipts just fine.

i have another word document that DOES NOT overlay at all.

the only difference between the two word documents is that one is a "natural" word document while the other contains an inserted .jpg file.

is there a limitation on the iSeries/word when overlaying to a picture inserted into the document or am i having a senior moment here?

one overlay is a normal word document wherein all the text and lines are created using only word.

the second, and not working as i hoped, word document contains a .jpg image that was inserted.

i want to use the .jpg image in the word document because it is cleaner than the "native word" document.

yes, i followed the link and am looking at it.

thanks,
