I have a 3812 attached to our network and spoolfiles are disappearing from the outq. We can send a printout on hold status or even save status to this outq and after a few minutes it will disappear. We're on V5R4. Any suggestion where to start looking?

Do you have some sort of job scheduled to run every few minutes that is running the command CLROUTQ?

Found it! Someone set up Acom to that output queue. It sweeps the queue to merge forms and clears the files.
