How can I read a journal reciever that has been detached.  I know I can use DSPJRN but that seems to only let me look at the attached Journal.  When I use the detached journal reciever it does not find any entrues.

 thank

Are you prompting the command? The DSPJRN will do a "range" of journal receivers but the default is just the *CURRENT. You can also do the whole *CURCHAIN and get all the receivers.

You can also specify specific receiver names for the range. This is faster than *CURCHAIN, since it narrows the search, but you have to know which receivers have your info.
