Reading the manual on Remote Journalling it would appear that you have to write a user-written program to apply the remote journals to the database on the remote server.
What I want to do is have 2 systems and do remote journalling to "mirror" the data on that system in the event of a fire or other disaster. The client doesn't have the budget for Vision or one of those other HA/DR packages.
I plan on also keeping the programs and profiles recent, but not "live".
So the question is, is there an automated way to mirror the data on the remote system with remote journalling.
[UPDATE: I found this article in MCPress by Chrs Hird from 8 years ago and will look into it for v5r4 and v7r1.
