hi everybody,

was gonna just tip the boonie hat to everbody and read about edman.  gonna miss his witty (and not so witty) comments.

anyway, i found an internet cafe on the base we made it to after a couple of months in the mountains and valleys (steppes, my paruski speaking friends would call them) and thought i'd drop a line to let everybody know that we've lost a few good friends here, but for the most part, i'm in one piece.

a few new cuts, scratches and a couple of interesting scars but nothing to write home about...wait, i just did.  never mind.

later folks.

-sarge

p.s.  anybody going to see edman's family or attend, please send the sarge's condolences. i forget that we lose friends back home, too.  when i get back, i'll fire up my own honda shadow and take a ride with edman's spriit at my side.

Take care of yourself, Sarge, and keep your head down. Once again, thank you for your service.

God bless you Sarge.

Let the other side "die for their country".
