Edward J. Kirgan, (EdMan) 48, of Lake Stevens, WA died in a motorcycle accident. He was last seen leaving Bert’s Tavern in Bothell, around 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
August 8th 2011 (SNOHOMISH, WA) -- The Snohomish County Sheriff’s office collision detectives are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that likely happened days ago. “About 10:19 a.m. today a passerby reported finding a crashed motorcycle in a very deep ditch in the 8200 block of Marsh Road in unincorporated Snohomish. Officials arrived and discovered a man’s body in the ditch, too. It was obvious this wasn’t a recent crash, but detectives don’t know exactly how long the man had been there,” said Rebecca Hover spokeswoman fro the sheriff’s office. Detectives are aware of the missing motorcyclist from the city of Lake Stevens , Edward Kirgan, and it is possible, they say, this might be the same person, but the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will eventually confirm and release the man’s identification. Marsh Road was closed for several hours while firefighters from Snohomish County Fire District 4 recovered the body and motorcycle from the ditch. Edward J. A good friend, he will be missed.
And I can just imagine him laughing his head off when I mention that the first time I read the article I thought it said he was last seen leaving Berts Tavern and Brothel!!
I never met him, and I interacted with him on this forum only occasionally, but I am very saddened by this. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Looking at the picture, he looks like a great guy and a fun friend, and I wish I had the opportunity to get to know him.
Very sad news.
I never met him, but he seemed to be a great guy.
Very unfortunate
I have been on this forum for last 5-6 years & been reading his informative posts as well as witty comments. Though not seen or met in person, I can say that AS/400 community & this forum has lost one good fellow. My prayers for his family & friends.
